Driving by the Salt River Fields stadium just east of Scottsdale, Arizona, I saw this unusual sight. I watched the funnel cloud descend and rise back into the clouds a couple of times. It is a ‘cold air funnel’, which occur when rapidly moving cold fronts pass through. Although they look ominous, there is little chance of damage.
